The kind of people you surround yourself with will impact your chances for success your business. Too many times entrepreneurs are discouraged by the comments from friends and family who haven’t clue on what you are working on. All they know is that it won’t work. But what do they really know? What kind of cars are they driving, what kind of homes do they live in? Are they in a better place or living a life style that is better than yours?
You will see that they are no better than you, so you wonder what is the basis for their assertions. None, actually. It is natural that most people are negative about many things in life. Sometimes it is best to stay away from negative and critical friends in your life as they will only keep you from succeeding and reaching your goals. You can love them from a distance but don’t keep them in your inner circle of influence. Surround yourself only with friends with a positive outlook, those who can help you achieve your goals.
Do you wake up in the morning, look out the window at the new day and say, “What a terrific day this is”? You should!! This positive outburst of energy will certainly set the tone for the rest of your day.
Thomas Edison failed to invent the light bulb 10,000 times before finally succeeding after observing the making of charcoal used for cooking on the outdoor grill. Cuts of wood would be thrown into a fire and later covered with dirt, starving the fire from air, thus creating charcoal. Thomas Edison then proceeded to remove the air from the light bulb, which prevented the filament from burning up and breaking the electrical circuit. Do you think he would have succeeded if he listened to the negative commetns of his friends and neighbors.
Be positive, think big and go for the gusto in life.

You are the Starting Point
Yes, it all starts with you and unfortunately it will end with you as well. Ah but if you stick with it, you will make it and the money will come rolling in. It all up to you… You know the routine of failing when ever you try to do something. What happened? Lost of interest? Lack of ambition? Could have been one of many obstacles that can turn that “I want” to “may be later”
Just remember, we can all do what we need to do but only if you have the Desire, Knowledge and Persistence.
The World We Live In
Right off the starting gate we are already overwhelmed with opinions and so much negative influences from family and friends and everyone else who knows better. Negativism surrounds us always. It’s like swimming out in the ocean and suddenly you realizing you are in the middle of a school of jelly fish. Which way do you go?
Off the starting gate you turn back and see that many other “wanna be entrepreneurs” are still at the starting gate. They haven’t left the gate because a relative told him “It’s not going to work” or the bug hit him, the bug called procrastination. May be some said “No I’m not interested” and you simply gave up. Sound familiar huh?
You need to condition your mind to shrug off the opinions of others. You need to program yourself into believing that you can make it, you will not fail. Be like Thomas Edison who failed in his effort to create the light bulb 10,000 times and never quit. Later we’ll discuss the need to hang around the right crowd of people. That’s right…If you wanna be a winner, you need to find other winner and that’s where you’ll hang…
