You can feel the sweet coming down the back of your neck because you just realized you also brought in a number of your friends and family and sent their money up the chain of command. It’s gone… all gone, the only thing left is for your to figure out how to repay the others you brought the scam to. Well, that is the right thing to do… That’s what a pyramid scam does. How do I know? I was taken by one in my younger years. You could have spotted the scam coming if you weren’t so in a hurry to make a few bucks, really easy.
Steps to Take
First, Do some research on the company before paying them any money. What is their true business name and which state are they in? Check with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in that state and see how well the business is doing. How long has the business existed? Be especially concerned if the busy is so new that it isn’t listed with the BBB. Search the internet for two words, the business’s name and the word “sucks”. You may find history on the business.
A business that has no tracks on the internet could be so new that raises some red flags. You see, some business’s change their names often to escape the bad reputation they have on the internet.
